Privacy policy

Who is responsible

ALVO (alvobase.com) is operated by Hüseyin Arda Özdemir. For any privacy question: alvo@alvobase.com.

What we collect

Account: your email address (to send sign-in codes and identify your account). We never store a password; you sign in with a one-time code.

Profile: your goal, gender, sports background, weekly training days, health notes, dietary preferences, kitchen level, starting and target weight, country.

Progress: your weekly weight check-ins and, if you choose, body photos you upload. Photos live in a private store visible only to your account; you can permanently delete them with one click.

Membership: payment-request details (method, note, crypto transaction id, amount) and your activation code. We collect no bank or card details; transfers are made from your own bank.

Optional: your WhatsApp number (if you want the weekly plan by message).

Browser: your preferences and plan are also kept in local storage on your device; we use no advertising cookies.

What we use it for

To generate your personal training programme, fit recipes and shopping list; to show your progress; to manage your membership; to send sign-in and membership emails; and, if you opt in, WhatsApp reminders.

We do not sell or rent your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing.

AI processing

Plans and recipes are generated with Anthropic's Claude model. For that, a summary of your profile (without identifying details) and, when you request a photo analysis, your photo are sent to the Anthropic API. Anthropic states that data sent via its API is not used to train its models.

AI estimates (for example a body-fat range) are informational, not medical measurements.

Where it is stored and who we work with

Database and authentication: Supabase (EU, Frankfurt). Hosting: Vercel. Email: Resend (alvo@alvobase.com). AI: Anthropic. WhatsApp messages (optional): Meta WhatsApp Business Platform. Crypto payment verification: the public Tron ledger (Tronscan).

Vercel also keeps cookieless, anonymous visit statistics (which page was opened how often); they contain no personal data.

These providers process data only to deliver the service and are bound by their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. You can delete photos and check-ins from the panel at any time. To close your account entirely, write to alvo@alvobase.com; we delete your account and all data within 7 days.

Payment records may be retained for the legally required accounting period.

Your rights

Under GDPR and Turkish data-protection law (KVKK) you may access, correct, delete, restrict processing of and port your data. Send your request to alvo@alvobase.com; we reply within 30 days.

ALVO is not designed for people under 18.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Photos are shown only through expiring signed links tied to your session. No system is perfectly secure, though; if you notice anything suspicious, tell us.

Changes

When we update this policy we change the date on this page and announce material changes by email.
